We wanted to take this opportunity to keep everyone informed of our progress for our new “safety protocols.” Our priority is for you to feel safe and protected when you visit our office for dental care. We ask that you review these protocols.

Here are just a few of the extra measures we are taking for your safety:

  1. Installation of plexiglasses in our reception area to protect both staff and patients.
  2. Hand sanitizer and antimicrobial soap will be made readily available throughout the office. Proper hand hygiene is your first line of defense in protection.
  3. Patient screening measures:
    • Thorough medical history reviews
    • Vitals will now include forehead temperature scan
    • Pre-visit screening questionnaires
    • Personalized discussion of your medical history and how it correlates to your systemic health
    • Importance of oral hygiene as it relates to your overall well-being.
  4. In conjunction with our current Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), our clinical team will also be equipped with the following:
    • Disposable full-body gowns
    • Surgical hair caps
    • Full face shields
    • ASTM Level 3 Masks/N-95 or kN95.
  5. Check-in process
    • Check-in is done via telephone.
    • All registration documents are on our website and MUST be completed and emailed to the office. Our email address is frontdesk@coralspringssmilecare.com.
    • Installed at the front desk is plexiglass to collect payments and minimize contact with patients.
    • Patients wait to be called in for an appointment once the previous patient is gone and sanitation is complete.
    • Patients will now be greeted by one of our amazing team members at the door and be taken directly to the treatment operatories.
  6. Check-out process
    • Our plan is to ensure that any follow-up care appointments, payments and financial arrangements are taken care of prior to your visit (via electronic or telephonic communication). Our priority is to collect prior to the start of treatment.
  7. Removed non-essential items
    • Any non-clinical items have been stored away. Dental display models, flyers, brochures, magazines, coffee pots, Keurig, night guard samples, implant displays, etc.
  8. Office entry restricted
    • Only patients may enter the office for an appointment. Spouses, family members, friends, caregivers and parents need to wait outside (in the car).
    • They can assist patients to the front door and hand off to staff.
  9. We will also be limiting the number of patients we treat at any given time. We will strictly adhere to social distancing.
  10. No need to get cozy in our reception area. We know your time is valuable, and our goal is to minimize your time in the office.
